White Water Expedition Medicine Course set in New Zealand’s stunning South Island.
Expedition and Wilderness Medicine have developed an exciting new 6 day course for medical professional who participate in all white water kayaking and rafting activities.
The course is located in Murchison, the ‘Whitewater Capital’ of New Zealand. With a plethora of nearby rivers including the Matakitaki and the mighty Buller it’s a perfect instructional area for novice and expert paddlers alike.
This course is subject to minimum numbers. Full refunds will be given in the event that minimum numbers are not met.

The aim of the Expedition & Wilderness Medicine Course is to provide aspiring and experienced expedition doctors, nurses, paramedics and advanced medics with the skills and practical knowledge to become valuable members of an Expedition Medical Team.
RACGP - The ALM is accredited for 40 category 1 points.
ACRRM - This activity is accredited by the ACRRM for 30 PRPD + 30 PRPD EM MOPS Points.
The course is eligible for an Emergency Medicine Procedural Grant (subject to being eligible and registered in the procedural grants programme prior to attending).
